Material Selection Adapts to Product Batch Requirements
The material of blister molds should be classified according to production volume: for small-batch trial production, gypsum molds can be selected (production cycle 1-2 days, cost only 1/10 of that of metal molds); for medium-batch production, copper-plated molds are recommended (surface accuracy Ra ≤ 0.2μm, capable of withstanding 50,000 moldings); for large-batch mass production, aluminum alloy molds are used, combined with hard anodizing treatment, with a service life of up to 500,000 moldings. Matching mold selection with production volume can reduce the comprehensive cost by 20-30%.

Impurity Removal Before Electroplating Improves Surface Adhesion
The peeling of the electroplating layer on zinc die-cast products is mostly caused by the surface oxide layer and impurities. The standard process is: first, remove the oxide layer by pickling with 10% dilute sulfuric acid for 30 seconds, then treat with an ultrasonic cleaner (frequency 40kHz) combined with a neutral degreaser for 5 minutes, and finally enhance the surface activity through electrolytic activation (current density 2A/dm²). After treatment, the surface roughness of the product is Ra ≤ 0.8μm, and the adhesion of the electroplating layer can pass the 1mm cross-cut test without peeling.
Low-Temperature Three-Proof Process Balances Protection and Hand Feel
Traditional high-temperature waterproof treatment tends to make leather hard, so low-temperature solutions have become a trend. Using Texnology®FCB058 fluorine-containing waterproofing agent, after 5 minutes of immersion and dehydration, baking at 120°C for 3.5 minutes can achieve three effects of waterproofing, oil-proofing, and stain-proofing at the same time. This process makes the static water pressure value of leather reach over 1000mmH₂O, and the elongation at break remains above 30%, balancing protective performance and soft hand feel.
Process Adaptation Scheme for PLA Material Molding
Blister molding of biodegradable PLA materials needs to solve the problem of brittleness at low temperatures. The key points of process adjustment include: setting the heating temperature 10-15°C lower than that of traditional PS (controlled at 140-160°C), adopting gradual vacuum extraction (initial vacuum degree 50kPa, rising to 90kPa after 3s), and extending the cooling time by 20%. Matching with corn starch-based release agent can realize complete biodegradation of products, and the surface gloss can reach 95% of that of traditional materials.
